Privacy Policy
The short version: you don't need an account to play, and we don't ask for your name, email or phone number. Your progress is saved on your device. The app shows ads from Google AdMob and sells optional in-app purchases through Apple or Google, with RevenueCat managing them. If you race friends online, your chosen racer name and your position in the race are shared with the other players in that race only.
This policy explains what information Soda Bear Dash (the "app") collects, why, and the choices you have. The app is published by 4ARO Group ("we", "us"), based in Texas, USA. Questions? Email [email protected].
1. Information stored on your device
Your game progress (levels and stars, bottle caps, bears and power-ups you've unlocked, settings, and the racer name you choose) is saved on your device. We don't receive a copy. Deleting the app deletes this data.

3. Racing with friends
Race Friends is optional. Races are private: only people with your 5-letter race code can join. Other players in your race see your racer name, your bear and where you are on the course. There's no chat. Race information is kept in the server's memory only while the race is running and is discarded afterwards; we don't build profiles from it. Short-lived technical logs (such as connection errors) may be kept for up to 30 days to keep the service running.
Please don't use your real full name or anything offensive as your racer name.
4. Ads, tracking and your choices
- iPhone and iPad: the app asks before it tracks you across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", ads are still shown but aren't personalised using your advertising identifier. You can change this any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- EU, UK and US state privacy laws: where required, the app shows Google's consent message before any ads load. You can review or change your choices any time from the app's Settings → Ad privacy.
- No ads at all: the Remove Ads purchase, the Starter Pack and the Bear Club subscription turn off banner and between-run ads. Optional "watch an ad" rewards stay available because you choose to watch them.
5. How we use and share information
We use the information above only to run the game, process purchases, show ads, run multiplayer races, and keep the app secure and working. We don't sell your personal information for money. Under some US state laws, sharing advertising identifiers with ad partners like Google for personalised ads may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising"; you can opt out using the tracking and consent controls in section 4.
6. Children
Soda Bear Dash is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app (for example, a real name as a racer name), contact us and we'll help remove it.
7. Keeping and deleting information
- Game progress stays on your device until you delete the app.
- Race data is discarded when the race ends.
- Purchase records are kept by RevenueCat and the app stores as long as needed for purchases, subscriptions, tax and legal requirements.
- To ask about or delete data linked to your purchases, email us with your store receipt or order number.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, UK, California or other US states), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your personal information, to object to or limit some uses, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Because the app has no accounts, most of your data is either on your device or held by Google, Apple or RevenueCat, and we'll help you reach it. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
9. Security and international transfers
Connections to our race server and our service providers are encrypted. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries, under their own safeguards.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced in the app or the store listing.
