Gemlode Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Gemlode mobile game ("Gemlode", "the app") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Gemlode is published by 4ARO Group ("we", "us"). Gemlode does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
1. Information stored on your device
Your game progress (levels unlocked, stars, coins, boosters, lives, daily streak and settings such as vibration) is saved only on your device. We do not receive it. Deleting the app deletes this data.
2. Information collected by our service providers
Gemlode uses two third-party services that collect limited information to make purchases and ads work. We do not sell your personal information.
RevenueCat (in-app purchases)
We use RevenueCat, Inc. to process and verify in-app purchases and subscriptions made through the Apple App Store or Google Play. RevenueCat receives:
- An anonymous, randomly generated app user ID (not linked to your name or Apple ID)
- Purchase and subscription details: product purchased, price, currency, transaction ID, purchase and renewal dates, and trial status
- Basic device and app information: operating system version, app version, country/storefront, and IP address
This is used to confirm purchases, unlock what you bought (for example VIP or No Ads), restore purchases, and help us understand overall sales. Payment details such as your card number are handled entirely by Apple or Google; neither we nor RevenueCat receive them.
Google AdMob (advertising)
Gemlode shows ads through Google AdMob, including optional reward videos and ads between levels. Ad revenue events are also reported to RevenueCat for our reporting. AdMob may collect:
- Device identifiers, such as the identifier for vendors (IDFV) on iOS or the advertising ID on Android
- IP address and the approximate location derived from it
- Ad interaction data, such as which ads were shown, viewed or tapped
- Diagnostic and performance data related to ad delivery
Google uses this information to deliver, measure and limit the frequency of ads and to prevent fraud. On iOS, Gemlode does not request permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, so it does not access Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA). If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows Google's consent form before ads are requested, and you can choose whether ads may be personalized. Players who buy No Ads or VIP do not see ads between levels.

4. Children
Gemlode is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will work with our providers to delete it.
5. Data retention
Game progress stays on your device until you delete the app. RevenueCat and Google keep the information they collect for as long as needed for the purposes above and as described in their own privacy policies, or as required by law (for example, purchase records for tax purposes).
6. Your choices and rights
- Ads: You can buy No Ads or VIP to remove ads between levels. On iOS you can reset or limit ad identifiers in Settings → Privacy & Security; on Android, in Settings → Google → Ads.
- Consent (EEA/UK/Switzerland): You can change your ad consent choices through Google's consent form.
- Subscriptions: Manage or cancel VIP in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Access and deletion: Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or California's CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, or to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email us. Because we do not collect your name or email in the app, we may ask you for your RevenueCat app user ID or purchase receipt to locate your data.
7. Security
Data sent to RevenueCat and Google is transmitted over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we and our providers use reasonable measures to protect it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of Gemlode after an update means you accept the revised policy.
